The Art of Stacking WOOD

Stacking logs is never a fun chore, but with the right amount of creativity and patience, it can be a pretty neat art-form.

The firewood is kind of like building blocks for adults. All of the different textures and colors from the various types of wood really do lead to some incredible works of art. Just take a look for yourself at these awesome stacks below.

Isn't this amazing? Makes me think about starting some wood-stacking projects (on a smaller scale fitting for a frame) and makes me wish I had a fireplace!

Hi!!!

Soooooo .... we finally put our business on the sidewalk for a test-run!!! I am happy to report that we are getting mostly positive feedback .. and only ONE COB so far!!! ;)

.. and if the weather stays as nice as it was yesterday and today .. we will be out there again tomorrow!!

Oh .. Hello There ...

.. I see you made it to my page .. BRAVO!!

First let me introduce myself ...  I was born and raised in Germany .. but half a lifetime ago I relocated to the USA and made it my >Home away from Home<!

I discovered my love for doodles in school ...and around the same time I also supplied some of my classmates with handmade jewelry. Imagine a gaggle of teenage girls passing you .. giggling .. all with the same design of earrings!! .. oh so silly!!
But then life caught up with me .. I married very young ... gave birth to my now grown daughter .. divorce .. etc... blah blah .. and I just didn't find the urge or patience to pick up pencil and paper to draw ... or wire to create jewelry!!

Long Story short  .. I found the inner peace to sit down and create again! After letting all these >un-creative< years pass .. I  had to start from the beginning again! .. but ..
                                                   I AM BAAACK!!!

 I will post updates of my new handmade Jewelry and Art .. and some other new projects!  I am not a blogger by any means (at least until now!) .. so please don't expect a daily diary or long essays from me! I might not be able to post all my art (you know  .. copy-cats who just don't care enough about copyright.. and such!) .. but if you want to keep track of my creations .. go to
