Just another little Update and Ramble!!

If you read my last blog you already might know that I had to take a little break from drawing and making my jewelry!!!

My TallGuy ( yes I call him that because he is a foot taller than I am ) was in the hospital .. first for heart failure ... then for an infection .. amputation of some of his toes and kidney-failure!!! Here is the good news .. he is feeling much better and healing since he was allowed to come home after 4 weeks tossing and turning in a hospital-bed!!!!!!

Hopefully soon he will get back up on his feet (yes, pun intended ;) ) and will be able to walk with a cane or even without any help!!!

                                           I want to thank everyone who kept us in their prayer. 
                                    

I also want to thank the doctors and nurses of Temple University Hospital ( well .. most of them who were involved with his care .. but that will be material for another blog!! ) for their knowledge and compassion! His case-manager on the other hand should go and look for another occupation .. I suggest as a cashier at a cheap Dollar-Store .. cause that is the only other place where I ran into an attitude like hers!!!!!!

Long story short .. my TallGuy is home and resting as much as he can .. and I let him!!! ;)
He has to go to a few follow-up appointments with the Temple Foot and Ankle Institute .. but that should be a cake-walk (even for him)

I will post another update when there is anything new to report!!!

My TallGuy is in the hospital!

Hello Again!!

I am sorry for not >blogging< much lately .. but I had a good reason!! My TallGuy is in the hospital for over three weeks now! In June we had a scare with his heart .. it is enlarged and not pumping well!
For the last two years he is struggling with a diabetic foot ulcer .. which got infected and caused the doctors to amputate all the toes on his right foot! So far he had two surgeries and is scheduled for the third and hopefully final surgery on Monday!
                                              Please keep him in your prayers ..

Hi YOU!!!

I am sorry I haven't posted any updates lately .. but I told you I am not a >blogger< at all! Anyhow .. I think I owe you a little explanation!!!

A while back my (better and much taller) half had a big health-scare and had to go to the hospital ... heart-failure!!!!!!! ... this was a very scary situation for both of us .. and I am sure you understand that he had my full and undivided attention!!!!

I am happy to report that he is feeling much better again .. but there will have to be some changes in diet and much less stress around him!!!

... on another note .. we are back on our little side-walk spot .. selling our GraffillyArtWear .. and I even added some greeting-cards and more jewelry!!!
