.. New HandMade Jewelry ..
Today I just want to update you on my latest jewelry projects I have been working on!
This is a pair of light-weight hammered silverwire earrings .. LittlePeople Dangles on french hooks
Not too long ago I made a great find of beautiful pearls in different shades and sizes .. and I decided to try my luck with making some RosePearl Studs .. I think I can call it a success .....
.... but what is a pair of beautiful earrings without a matching ring?? I took the same shade pearl and worked it with a little wire twisting and wrapping into a simple, but stunning ring!!

Jewelry in the Making
.. so without further ado here are the pictures of the newer pieces!!
I was lucky enough to find some green glass stones in different sizes ..
... and of course I had to have them and turn them into a huge ring!!!
.. since the ring was so big already .. I decided to attach the wire on the back-part ..
NOOOO ... I didn't stop there!!! .. since these glass stones only come in certain colors (clear .. blue .. and green .. is what I have seen so far!!! ) .. but I NEED pink .. to go with one of my outfits ... what do I do now???? Pffffffffff .. easy ... just take some nail-polish or acrylic paint aaaaand .... a clear stone will turn into this
... and then you can make another ring and earrings!!!
.. the possibilities are endless!!!! ... and my next set has to be .. PURPLE!!!

Jewelry in the Making
Hello again!
Yesterday I found the time to work on some new jewelry!
I fell in love with cracked glass stones .. it is a bit of a hassle in the kitchen .. but totally worth it when you look at the result!!
I used blue and clear stones for a test-run .. and I did not go with the baking-method .. I heated the stones on the stove-top (high heat for ~10 min) .. and dumped them in an ice-bath until they were fully cooled!
The blue stones looked just fine and i didn't treat them any further! .. for the clear stones I had another idea!!
I lightly sanded the top of the stone (not the back!!) .. sorry . this picture doesn't show the full effect! .. but you will see what I mean if you keep scrolling to the very bottom!!! ;)
So now I have a bunch of gorgeous stones .. what do I do?? .. they need to be seen by the rest of the world =) ... so why not make a pair of earrings? ... hmmmmm!! .. let me see if I can pull that off??!!!
First I need to figure out how to attach the stone to a ear-hook .. maybe with a backing of some kind!!!
I decided to use my 12gauge silver wire .. wrapped a little coil and hammered it flat!! .. glued the stones on .. added some ear-hooks .. and viola!!!!
The backing of the earrings shines thru the stone .. which gives it a nice effect ... uuuuuuhhhhh sparkly :)
I also finished the clear stones .. same steps ...
.... now what?? .. I have a blue and a clear stone left!!!!! ..... should I go for a ring?? Yes .. I am kind of the girl that likes to always match her jewelry .. so let's try!!!!!

Again .. I used my 12gauge silver wire and started with a loop .. hammered it flat .. wrapped my wire around the ring-mandrel .. a snip .. another wrap .. a little fumble here and there .. hammer some more ... well .. you get the idea!!! :) ... and here they are ..
